"Teach Children to Meditate. Like the strong roots of a tree, nothing will knock them over for too long. They will know how to make peace with their inner world."

An education isn´t how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It´s being able to differentiate between what you know and what you don´t.
Anatole France
It is my goal to work with your child/teen in their journey toward healing, lasting independence, and self-discovery. I’m here to teach your son/daughter problem solving skills and strategies that can help them manage stress, learning and social/emotional difficulties. By helping each and every youngster shift from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset and take personal ownership of goals can promote sustainable behavioral and academic change.
A child´s emotional development is very important as it contributes to their self-esteem and how they perceive themselves and others in the world around them. It is important that children know how to identify their feelings, manage difficult situations and learn to respond to stress by making good choices. Teaching positive coping skills that help youngsters navigate social relationships and intrapersonal conflict is important because it gives them tools that promote emotional intelligence that translates to success in life. I help youngsters with Conflict Resolution, Anger Management, Identification and Maintenance of Healthy Friendships, How to Cope with Anxiety and Social Skill development through different counseling techniques and Mindfulness Meditation strategies that can help them thrive in their social and emotional development.

They are a highly skilled and are a ready resource in the effort to ensure that all children and youth thrive in school, at home, and in life."
Through the use of various methods and collaborative treatment measures, children/adolescents can develop life-changing habits that help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles. My counseling sessions are designed to identify personal issues and goals and provide effective tools/strategies that can be applied to manage emotions, resolve interpersonal/intrapersonal conflicts, develop executive functioning skills and ameliorate academic difficulties.
